Hiya,
Anyone is using the Metz 60 CT-4 with any of the above DSLR? Wondering if it is worth it to get the SCA 3402 M3 adapter. Appreciate your kind advice. Thanks ![]() |

i am planning to try it too... simply have to get the adapter & hook up the cable from the CT4, but then there will be no TTL & its fully manual.

So far, I find that exposure with this flash beats the SB 800 flat flat. |

I do not think there is any issue with the trigger voltage of the Metz with the D70.
I'm using 45CT4 and 32CT7 with the SCA340 and SCA346/2AF Adapters on the D70. 37CT2 mount with either Adapters on hotshoe. 45CT4 connected with SCA300 cable to either Adapters on hotshoe. The SCA3XX being the older series of Adapters from Metz, I do not have any exposure problems on Auto with the D70. I guess the new series SCA34XX should have better compatibility with the DSLRs mentioned. Metz - Colour Temperature Last edited by teerex; 29th January 2005 at 04:37 PM. |

alrite.. finally got my hands on the hotshoe adapter. but its not the SCA 3402 M3, instead i got the Nikon AS-15. (cos that the only thing the shop has)
then came bac home to do a comparison between the CT4 & the SB600. needless to say.. the CT4 beats the SB600 flat flat. i know its a really unfair comparison but then.. i ain't got a SB800 to test. here's a pic of the comparison ( flash bounced @ 75 degrees). ![]() well, as far as i can say.. the CT4 works great with D70!

Use the 60 CT 4 as the bounce flash and long range shots, SB800 as fill-in I find that once we spilt the power of 60 CT-4 b/w main and secondary, the main bounce lacks some punch. I love full power bounce ![]() |
