taiwan or japan?

I saw some canon camera made in taiwan and some are japan. Is it ok to buy taiwan made? Is there any diff.? How about durability?

Some are even made in Thailand but people still loves them

I personally don't mind such things. If the parent company is reputable, their QC will be up to standard.
