    Default SingNet Broadband down?

    For quite sometime, I can only surf .sg site. Oversea site having connection error. Anyone have the same thing? SingNet DNS kena poison or down?

    Yes, the overseas site connections to Singnet are down atm (6:50pm).

    Just have to wait though...

    They should have a status report on their website. I thought it was my modem, kept resetting it..... . And i thot Pbase close shop man.

    no wonder lar ... i can still surf foreign sites but damn slow, even SG yahoo auctions also cannot make it...

    So, will SingNet compensate us since it's a paid service? Someone might lose big time because of losing connection while he was trying to sell stock or lose a ebay bid because of the lost connection.

    Pacnet or starhub/SCV user any issue with the connection? I think they all use the same submarine line. Downstream might be different, if the 2 is ok, it maybe SingNet issue in their internal network or they themself are congusted instead of US network.

    Microsoft never bother about trojans/hackers attacking their bandwidth and even it happen all the time their network is always up. Instead of spending money to defend DDOS, they implement bandwidth that are so big that almost no DDOS will be able to choke it down. If all Singapore upstream can be choked, we might need more line then...

    no wonder I can't able to access oversea URL.

    It drop since 6.50pm..
    now already 10pm.. still not solve..
    that's bad... very bad...

    If my KD kenda attack, who going to compensate my lost...

    contract state that it's not 100% uptime

    4 hours only...my pacnet down more than 24 hours before...and i tot my modem spoil....

    So, what is the hooha? Another DDOS or Singnet technical issue? Did Singnet bother to explain or did anyone found out the real cause?
