woah. I love the second pic. even tho the pics are a tad soft, the pictures are still very nice interms of composition, esp 1 and 2.

I'm not a marine photog, if there's a difference for that matter... haha... but i'm loving the pics here... =)

I think 2 brings out the shy nature of the animal and the yellow on yellow was very well captured, the light also help to give the pic a nice depth to it, enhancing the compo. =)

Damned, here we are telling people to shoot manual mode and you returned shoots like these in A mode (later then i realised why u use A mode. Guess u have no choice since u need the internal flash to be in TTL to trigger the strobe's TTL)

very nice lighting. i am sure your experience with lighting during your film days helps. Well at least you are heaps ahead of us when it comes to strobe placement. Seems like the TTL of the DS sensor works wonderfully for u. U use the diffuser on the strobe?

How's the digital experience compared to film? i am waiting for u to join me on a DSLR.....Doesn't the shutter lag just kill you???!!!!

Eric

Digi able view pix fast...that's good. But from the screen sharpness can't tell so got to fire a lot. Film I get better result...I know what I want to include & what not. DSLR no $$$ La. That !@#** shutter lag....I hate it.

Siaoon-hmm.. maybe u can start to do a bit of PS skill oso.. !!!

Me not gd with computer....PS oni know how to crop & level oni.

I treat shooting digi like shooting with my Nik V or SLR. My next shooting trip will be Malapascua 4-9 Feb.

Hi Eric, good digital shots from your 1st try. I'm still stuck with my Nik V & SLR. Slide film all the way until someone decides to buy me a 10d housing for my birthday!

Oh, I didn't comment on your images. I like all 3 of them...I've always enjoyed looking at your images anyways.

1) I love SpineCheek Anemonefish so this one's a winner.

2) A very unique perspective of a macro shot. Gives me something to think about when I shoot whip creatures the next time.

3) Where did you take this? The last leaf scorpion I shot was not this translucent!
