I am using the f4-5.6 versionand after some use i actually like it more than the 17-40L which i was using on canon. Considering the f4-5.6 being cheaper and i think the f3.5 is around close to the price of 17-40L, i'd think f4-5.6 is more worthwhile. Even if the f3.5 is sharper, unless someone could tell me which image is by the f3.5 version, if not i cant really justify paying a couple hundred more for the sharpness (not like the max aperture matters much to me).

Well, the 10mm with 1.5x crop factor will be wider than the 17mm.. One can never be wide enough...! (Unless you can't use filters anymore, heh)

Only the filter, not sky, is the limit to the wideness!

Price @ Adorama is USD$429 (for 4-5.6). After taking conservative exchange rate for credit card @ 1.3, 7% GST, $30 shipping (look out for promo codes to reduce shipping cost further), costs about SGD$630. Thats about $200 cheaper than local retail. 1-year international warranty. Temptation is high.

What do u guys think of buying online and shipping it to SG?
