Default Size of Softbox & Octabox vs portability

Need some experiences from the outdoor shooter here

I have a choice of 95cm/120cm octabox and 70x100/80x120 softbox.
I am planning to get 120cm octa and 80x120 softbox.

Any bro here can share some experience dealing with large modifier on on location/outdoor shoot.

The larger the softbox, the softer the light will be. But the larger the softbox, the stronger your light need to be.

If you are using the softbox outdoor, and in daylight, you need enough power to drive to softboxes to overpower the sun.

What lights are you using to drive those softboxes?

As for comparison between rectangular softbox vs octa box, octa box vs rect softbox are just different shapes so you have to decide when to use what to get the light you want (the edges where the light ends). Generally, light from octa box wraps around more due to the wider side edges, and the catchlights are slightly nicer because they are round.
