Default Thaipusam

Anyone shooting Thaipusam in IR today?

Don't think it's easy, 'cos the devotees are moving all the time. The long exposure required for IR may make all the images blurry.

Think it's great idea to have some Thaipusam photo in IR. I wish that I am on leave today.
I might go there in the evening if I can go off early.
Maybe a tripod could helps.. have a good shooting day.

Thaipusam in IR, not successful leh! As mentioned the devotees and supporter are moving all the time. Due to the long exposure for IR, all pics blurry.

Here's a couple of shots to share. Out of cam, too lazy to do any processing yet.
Anyone wants to try converting these 2 pics to simulated IR, please do so. Would be interesting to see how far post processing can go.

Happy devotee, showing me the peace sign.

This guy stopped to dance around in front of me

Ya lor. Most IR simulations look like mono rather than using a filter. Wonder if there's any tutorials or actions that can simulate closer to IR.

This is what I got from an simulated IR action

Seems like it works better on the lighter coloured foliage.

Yes, you're right. Here's another with foliage, cannot get the blue sky thing. Opinions?
