Twig Caterpillars are also called Loopers because the caterpillars move by curving their bodies into loops. They are also known as Inch Worms because they apparently measuring off one inch at a time as they move. Caught this beauty mimic a twig.

The Brown Grass Spider made their web on grass. This photo is taken early morning where the water dew is still formed on the spider web. As the sun rises, the dew will be gone.

Don't Make Sudden Move
![]() My pal spotted this Striped Kukri Snake while we were at Pulau Ubin on 19 Feb, by the roadside, just a couple of steps in front of him. Judging from the shape of the head, it seems non-venomous. So, after some initial shots, I decided to prone down to get a close-up shots. My pal was standing by, looking out for vehicles, and keeping an eye on this snake in case it wanted to try something dangerous. |

Hi, had a thought over the last pic i posted, and eventually felt that it did not adhere to the theme, so here's the one that i will be posting up. This flower is one variety of Dahlia, taken in Sentosa's flower display. Like it very much because of its strong colours.

Took this mudskipper at Pulau Ubin. Had to approach slow while maintaining my camera low and near the ground. Was about 30 cm away to take the pic.

![]() This fly is a favourite subject to macro shooters because you can find plenty of details on it. I was quite lucky to get this shot and the sharpness was due to 3 factors. Firstly, the fly was very still. It did not move at all for a couple of seconds. Secondly, I was able to position myself in a rather comfortable position thus able to get the camera to be as still as possible with little/no handshake. Last but not least, the weather condition played an important role. The air was still with no breeze at all. |

![]() From far, the formation on these insects looked like a flower. On a closer look, then I noticed they are sharing the same "food". Therefore, the title "All 4 One". |

Danger in the Still – This cricket is not aware of the danger while the brown spider camouflages herself with the environment. In a split-second, the spider is enjoying her breakfast with a fatal bite with its fangs. “An insect a day keeps the doctor away” Spiders are capable of selecting their prey and gain a balance diet. They could consume their prey many times their size or go without food for a week or longer.
