Default How to crop?

How to crop a specific width and length?
All I know are only free hand cropping. Any ideas how to crop a specific size?

In Photoshop, select the crop tool, then in the options at the top, specify the height and width you want, then click and drag to select what you want to crop.

Is that what you want to know?

or make a new file with the right size; drag image across and move around til you're happy. My method is kind of good - allows interactive adjustments to crop/view
