photoshooting session

Hi i'm just curious to know from experience porporait model ogranisers and agency what they do when they invite a model for shooting. Like do they need to ask d model to sign any form? whats to note for d model? 2) If i'm interested in asking a model for shoot, do i need to ask him/her to sign a form to protect myself? thanks alot.
