Can a Casio NP-40 1230mAh battery be used on a Pentax? Since the original NP-40 battery for Pentax is 710mAh, does it mean using casio's battery inside pentax camera will extend battery life?

Where you get the fact that 1230mah will last longer than 710mah? Or you just think that "it should by the higher rating"? |

if the ratings are true and both batteries have the same voltage, a battery rated 1230mAH will last longer than a battery that's 710mAH.

I did read thru your post abt 3rd party battery issue, if happen that you had bought a defective set, yes, even if you get a 2300mAh wan also useless, it couldn't last long. But a 'good' recharger battery with higher mAh definitely last longer than lower mAh. Last edited by Spyer2; 22nd January 2005 at 11:26 AM. |

Check here: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...868119480&rd=1 Seems the Casio EX cam shares the same battery as the Pentax Optio . Hmm, might get a good one for my OptioS ![]() |
