Default Morning Encounter With Raptors & SBKF

Managed to squeeze an hour or so in the late morning to do some shooting before heading back to office and bury myself with tons of workload again. Anyone know the ID for the raptors?

Right moment, the right birdies....but at the lousy locations

Some consolations after all...

Well, no choice. Sometimes we cannot expect too much from these birdies

If I knew SBG got raptor, should have cheong with you at SBG instead of Sime Forest Went there this morning but took a wrong turn and ended up tracking for 5 hours. The place was so full of Homo sapiens that no birds dared to come out Eventually managed to capture a WTKF and a couple of forest birds but none of the shots were good

Sad to hear that joe. Actually the raptors were caught outside SBG compound along the road. The one I spotted on the tree were less than 10 meters away from me (almost shot it at full fame). Got too excited so anyhow wracked and then discovered another one resting just right opposite the road on top of the roof of a building...but the bg and lighting wasn't good...sigh.

Both birdies seem like 'bochap' people and take their own sweet time relaxing one corner. I will try to spend more time the next round to find out where are these buggers' favourite resting spot.

Cheers

Thanks bonfire. Actually I spend more than an hour shooting (waited almost an hour for Mr Storky to show itself) but less than 2 hours altogether for the morning shooting session

Cheers
