Default Bird shooting.

Hello all !!!

i just bought myself a Sigma 70-200mm F2.8 and was wondering which Teleconverter to buy, 1.4 or 2 ???

which brand ??? Sigma ???

i know this lens is rather "short" for bird shooting but this is all i can afford for the moment.

thanks

I have not tried the Sigma 70-200mm before so I can't really comment. If you can, you might want to borrow from your friend who have the TC or try it out at the shop and compare their results.

Personally, I would prefer a 1.4x but some 2x can give very good results too.

That depend on how close you can get. Some birds are more tolerant than others.

You asking me? I am using the Sigma 50-500mm.

We all have to start somewhere. I was once a 'zero' shooter like you too

The lens is about 1.9Kg. I usually don't use teleconverter as that will produce very soft results on this lens.

Thanks bro! The ducks are easy target. You can get them easily with your 200mm too

Err.... got to see if I got any "nice" one or not. Got too many pictures and a slow PC. So, processing is kind of tedious. Also, have not been getting much good shots lately
