Is "scratchy" sound from Nikon 35mm lens an issue?
I got a 2nd-hand Nikon AF-S DX 35mm f1.8G recently and all is well except that I notice the zooming motor of the lens creates a scratching-like sound when auto focusing is in place. It's not very loud but still distinctive when I'm in a quiet room.
Can't seem to find any related topics about this in Clubsnap but found some in google and there were mixed reviews. Some people were saying there's absoluting no sound and 1-1 exchange or serving would be ideal if the case continues. Some people says it'll "disappear" after a few hundred shots, etc.
Could anyone here in Clubsnap forums able to clarify this issue with the Nikon 35mm lens they own?
Thanks in advance!

You can send it to the Nikon service centre for an opinion. No need of pay if it's just an evaluation of the problem
