Question about AF area

Hi guys, need some opinion about your setting on the auto focus area mode when u guys use your istD for shooting fast moving object. Normally I use the Center Area only, but most of the time I couldn't be able to aim the object properly even if I had set the AF switch to AF.C.
Wandering if i set to the Auto Area Selection Mode, the focusing mode could be better

The lack of response does show that its not a very popular or widely
sold camera

But then popularity or sales volumes have no direct relation to
quality.
