My friend is visiting Hong Kong and I'm thinking of getting the Sigma 18-125 lens which costs $520 at MS.
I've no idea how much cheaper these gadgets are in HK. Is the warranty international? How much do you guys think I should pay for if it's without local warranty? Should I get it if it's only $50 cheaper? Many thanks! |

if it's cheaper by a bit, get it locally. Sigma QC could be a little inconsistent and you won't want to ship back to HK for replacement.

I've used the 18-125mm before on my previous D70 (Nikon).
Apart from the wide range advantage, there is no other reason in using this lens. Not "Shiok". And I hate the easily lens creep. |
