Hi Guys, Anybody knows if the Rollei MiniDigi is on sale in Singapore? Any idea how much it would cost? Just saw it on the Rollei.jp website! It looks super cool!

What does the top lens do? there's no arrow pointing to it in the picture.
How much do you think it'll cost?

its made by rollei for the japanese market only and uses an SD card...
I doubt J&J ... the distributor for Rollei in Singapore will have it...

Can always look for it on your next biz/holiday trip to Japan...

converted to SGD it should cost around 600+ ...

it is meant as a fashion accessory and maybe a collectors' item ...
btw its a 2mp camera

I believe HongKong got sell, as one of the magazine I came across is promoting it at a recommended retail price of HK$2480, which is like SGD512+/- To me it is a toy for a child. It is more like a for a camera collector than being used as a camera. I would prefer a real 6 x 6 medium format Rollei film camera, in anyway better than a 20D in resolution
