    Cool

I have lent my early IXUS to a friend and my s602 to a cousin.

But, my 20D and F810 I would lend to the same person I would lend my credit card to...NO ONE

Generous is good, but there is a limit.

    Actually it depends.

If I know I can trust the person to handle my DSLR properly, no problem.

If I know I can trust the person to be very chor lor with his own things, forget it. He can't even take care of his own things, much less others.

So far, I can't find a single person to trust to lend my DSLR to for a day right now. Let ppl handle have, but i muz be within 50cm of the fella

rule of thumb is not to lend equipment.

really, not for selfish reasons, sometimes it saves problems between friends, esp when something goes wrong.

Personally i dont like the idea of borrowing someone else's camera/lens, scared lah.

    but that's me.

I meant most of my relative and friends could not able to use my camera unless they know something about photography.
Coz my camera does not have auto-mode, program-mode at all! Totally mech and totally no light-meter plus manual focusing...

I guess not everyone can handle a manual camera properly. Even I've got problems handling manual cameras when I'm so used to automatic ones.

I guess technology made 1/2 of us pretty lazy yeah?

I'll lend my camera to anyone who is old enough to hold a camera and doesn't have a greasy nose that make oil mark on the back of the camera.
