Default I lay claim me sprinkler Series

First decent pacific swallows for the record. Their abundance really tempted me to set up a perch on this location . The only problem is that the perch has to be real tall . Just a thought.

Did quite get the action right. Maybe will try again next time.

An observation to share: I find the plumages of these swallows easier to meter and works better with slight under-exposure. The white region still holds w/o clipping at -1 eV compensation while the details in darker feathers are conserved. Hitting the "just right " exposure gives the subject a gleaming feeling. Works when the light is coming from in-front of the subject. Fill-flash just cannot generate that kind of gleam that I want.

I hope more birders will come forth to share with us their birding experience and perhaps give a brief discussion on the exposure techniques they used.
