    Question Saturation of photo can get after post processing???

    Hi Experts,

    I want to know that the saturation of Photo can get after post processing..
    Is there any technique or setting to do on camera to get the saturation without using a software for post processing?
    when i took the photo, feel like the photos need color saturation...

    Kindly share me..Thanks.. I am newbie with DSLR..

    I'm also a newbie myself but if you're using canon, you can choose lvl of saturation in picture style. For others, maybe they have too but why don't you look up your manual?

    Have you tried to bump up the in-camera saturation setting. It can be done from there. But don't expect to get perfect saturation by doing that, it just improves a bit. Most of the time, still need to PP to get the colours right

    first, you need to understand about the lighting,

    the subject will have better colors under the "right light" (not in shadow)
    the subject will have more truthful colors when exposed correctly.


    second, you can set saturation in your camera,

    but you need to go and read your camera user manual.

    On top of the advice from catchlights, you also need to get the correct white balance, so the colors will be accurate.

    cloudy day also very muted colors. u try pull saturation from that lighting condition, you will get ugly colors.

    uncle ben gave a good tip
