It has been 3 months since I last went for a nature shoot to 'hunt' down those nice little birdies. Woke up early this morning to prepare for my first nature shoot in Yr 2005
My finger are itching for the shutter. Met up a quite a few CSers (Bluestrike, Kei, erwinx, MadCat, Flamer) there and got to know two new friends, one of them is Averyaba. Here are some of my shots for the day at BG. ![]() ![]() ![]() All shots uncropped, only resized and border in PS. Comments are welcome. Need to start practicing for 2005. Thanks for viewing. |

Hi Raymond,
Eric's here (the one that wife is waiting for me for about 2 hours at the cafe :-)). Nice talking to you that day. Indeed great pictures, superb clarity, sharpness, great control on depth of field and excellent composure. I am always a Macro guy and after seeing your pics, I am really motivated to get close to half your level. Can't really remember what lens you are using that day, Sigma 70-200mm f2.8 with 2X TC? Anyhow, hope to see you again next time then... Cheers. |

Thank you for all the kind compliments. I still have alot to learn and catching up, based on some of the post in the forum. Hopefully able to obtain a nature shot which I am truely satisfied with.
eric: hi hi, nice meeting you that day. I remember you did you wife complain after you got back? Thank you for your compliments, I am haven't been shooting nature for quite sometime and would consider myself as a beginner. There are many experience nature shooters in this forum, who are my motivation. I was using a Sigma 120~300 f/2.8 with a 2x TC that day. All these shots are taken at 600mm f/5.6 |

Luckily she didn't.... quite patience to my surprise
Probably, she think this is a better hobby than going out drinking with my friends till late nights.... Thanks for your information on the lens.... I only intend to get Sigma 70-200mm f/2.8 with 1.4x teleconverter, not sure whether 2x will degrade the quality too much ![]() |
