Since the S20 Pro only has 3.1 megapixels and the S7000Z, which it's supposed to replace has 6.1mp, what then is the advantage the S20 Pro have over the S7000Z.Looks very fallacious to me..Seems like the older S7000Z is more value for money am i right?

If you are looking for resolution, yes, the 7000 is what you'll need. But the price of that is the slightly more noise on the 7000 (ISO200 vs ISO160 on the S20pro), but this is very minor. The more significant difference is that the S20pro responds to a wider dynamic range and thus preserves highlights better and shows more shadow details.
3MP is certainly good enough for 4R printing, and the occasional 8R. I have the S602, and speaking for myself, I will choose the S20pro over the S7000. |

If only the S20Pro had the 10x zoom of the S5000Z..That would be very nice.

Agree (again !) with yowch ... the old Fuji prosumers are definitely keepers, they produce excellent images. I'm keeping my 6900Z even though I've had my S2Pro for a while already. Sometimes it's just not practical to bring a DSLR along.

Not for any amount, because it was the first camera I can call truly my own, bought with money I saved up.
