This is what you get from eating raw frog or snake meat. A parasitic worm that wriggles to your brain.

Frog's eyes may not be blinking at you but its legs are kicking on your plate.

Where food is concerned, one man's meat is another's poison. I love frog legs porridge, now that I have seen this, urghh I keep remembering the picture of the frog staring at me everytime I go for it

Btw, if one gets seriously, critically ill, boil fresh frogs (killed & skinned) & drink the soup. You will feel the "power" & will help you to be up & kicking in no time.... serious.

Are you joking or just dishing out false information?
Parasites do NOT reside in vegetables and fruits.
Parasites need a LIVE HOST - and although your primary school teacher told you that plants are living things, they are NOT a LIVE HOST.
Parasites commonly reside in the muscle (meat) of animals, but sometimes in other organs too.
They can also reside in water for those who need a marine host.
Fish and marine animals are hosts for MANY parasites.

Your Kangkong can get virus and bacterial infection but not parasite infection.
Some parasites stay on the SURFACE of plants, like grass, because they want to get into the body of the cow when the cow eats the grass.
But they do not stay IN any plant or vegetable.
They cannot survive for long outside of a LIVE HOST.

Just a short primer on parasitology here.
I took this module in Uni.

You want to macro shoot his eyes to show that he is watching you eat him, like the Japanese girl's frog, is it??

    On the issue of humanity,
Actually, scientifically, some animal families like fish, amphibians, insect do not have a central nervous system that is developed enough to enable them to feel pain.
So in theory, these animals cannot feel pain - whether you whack them, slit them in half live, or gorge out their eyes, they do not feel anything.
HOWEVER, none of these animals have ever told us whether they feel pain or not, so I am still a little worried about whether they can actually feel pain.
What if they can feel pain? Then it would be too cruel to cut them alive and eat them.

About your pigs, cows and such... these days they are quite humane.
They actually shock them to make them unconscious, then kill them - so they do not feel the pain.
Err... this is what that Exposed program said and I've already heard of cow abattoirs doing this.
    I'm quite ok with that.

what the poster has said is that one can be infected with parasites from the consumption of vegetables which in this case just happened to be fasciolopsis buski, a genus of tematodes also known as fluke found on ipomoea aquatica, and nothing more. a point in which you have also jolly well admitted yourself.

please do not defame the poster by adding words into his mouth and twisting his statement. me thinks you should take more modules in elementary english comprehension.

Maybe for some an excursion to Geylang to see parasites on a live host is more educational?
