Don't think so .. that company I think is called just Lux now.

Luxasia is a distributor of fragrances and perfumes.

Will check with Luxasia, but prints are preferable as
a) *you* control the quality of the print that is submitted
b) one standard platform for viewing (viewing on monitor very subjective)

Will also check with them if a smaller print can be submitted (eg 6R and above) and update.

Is it just 8R or 8R and above? E.g., can submit A4?

Default Updated with Contest entry form

Please download and print the Contest Pre-Selection Entry Form from here - CLICK ME!!

As the subject of the Competition is a perfume bottle, pre-selection entries should naturally fall into the STILL LIFE category and focusing on (haha pun intended) similiar products/shapes. Beyond this tip, let your imagination and creativity flow such that your entry catches the judges eyes and you can get selected for the next phase.

Good Luck to All!!

Before everyone starts to send entries, please read:

"......Copyright of images submitted in the competition phase will belong to Luxasia Pte Ltd.
"

This is another way of getting cheap pics for advertising, they spend about SGD 13,464 at least for material (bottles given, plus prizes), for 30 pics which thay potentially can use as they please several times. Each pic would have cost them about SGD 5000-8000 each or more(when made by pros)........

Hoped Clubsnap would have pointed this out before........

If you can agree on this of course you can join, its fun! But don't forget this is commercial.....

Actually, this sounds very normal for a competition involving publicity for a product. Many competitions will retain the rights to pictures if it involves a higher round of selections and exhibition. It's true that pros will charge thousands of dollars for a shoot, but it's unlikely pros will simply produce just one shot for the clients. And they probably aren't expecting pros to take part anyway, so technically, why pay pro-rates when you aren't expect pro work?
