What they want to say its their business. Its just like if you don't know how to appreciate durian and find it smelly doesn't mean it sucks.

Can't believe someone will leech my photos

Well, I can't be bothered by their comments. Everyone has their own thinking & can express them out freely. Just some people express them blatantly.
People who gaffer have their own reasons and those against gaffering have their own reasons too, there is no right or wrong over such issues. No point wasting time arguing over it.
When unrestrained from the confines of a general photography forum, in his Leica homeground, his true colours show. Not sure why he he feels he has to go round bashing every other brand, maybe he needs to compensate for something..... . Even on that thread, a couple of posts done, some sensible comments from another Leica user.

Disparaging remarks aside and despite its less-than-mediocre build quality, with a good lens the Dreble can produce better-than-excellent image quality.

This is no offence to the owner of this mummified body....but i feel that one should concentrate more on taking photos, instead of worrying about scratching his equipment. If one is so paranoid about scrapping the surface, i feel this person should have just leave the camera on the shell and admire it.

Thank you for reading my 2 cents worth of comments.

right, one should not be too engross on equipment and start focusing on the photo taking portion.. but then again, each of us do have diff behavior and usage on the equipment will be diff too... in diff terrain, weather, sweaty palm..etc?

the equipment we use is ex.. is up to the individual how to care and maintenance

IMHO and 1 cent worth of comment.

Whats wrong about taking extra care of your equipment? It doesn't prevent one from enjoying photography does it. To each his own.

Can the gaffer tape be removed cleanly from the body without staining it in about 5 years?
