thanks for your comments. settings vary a lot - aperture varies from f5.6 all the way to f13, iso varies from 100-400, but I am sure that the shutter speed is 1/125 because thats the fastest flash-sync I can get with my camera
Pictures are generally super-heavily cropped because the birds are wild, scared of humans, and very small...Don't forget to check out Vol.1 and 2 of this 'exhibition' http://forums.clubsnap.org/showthrea...threadid=10744 http://forums.clubsnap.org/showthrea...threadid=10774 ![]() Last edited by erwinx; 6th August 2002 at 10:44 AM. |

By any chance does your condo sort of overlook JBP?
Thats a lot of birds that you have in your vicinity, but i have seen some around my estate too (but no chance to photograph yet). Some sightings:- 1. Monitor lizard (about 5ft long) in the canal 2. Blue-collared kingfisher (a pair) 3. A family of 4 hummingbirds (very unafraid of ppl - can approach to within 7-8ft) 4. Some occasional egrets 5. A 2.5ft long black and gold-banded snake 6. Many geckos and lizards 7. Lots and lots of snails I am sure if I look hard enough, there are more that I can discover ![]()
