Talking Let's see some shots! Dynax 7D's photos

Well, Sulhan's original thread has long been buried and lost...

So, I just decided to start another one, for the convenience of those who are comtemplating on the 7D.

Handheld without flash. Lens 24 - 105 f 3.5 - 4.5 (D)
Processed

Yes, I know the autoshow has long been over, but well, I haven't really gotten out and shoot with the 7D since then... Wonder how the colour looks, hahaha did the processing on an ibook with uncalibrated screen.

Time to sleep, more will follow... i hope...

Thanks. The first is 800, 1/4 sec, f/4. I usually use NR, but I'm unsure about that shot... I saw some hot pixels so I dunno...

The others? Who knows

Another one... Yeah I know i'm slow...

Handheld with flash + omni bounce
Lens: 50mm f1.4
Processed

Think i screwed up the profiles for all of my previous imagess, was wondering why they looked different on my browser over PS, a little under saturated etc etc... For this one I converted it from sRGB IEC61966-2. to sRGB profile, now it looks accurate on my broswer.. *Groan* Wonder should I go convert the rest of my previous images...

Did you PS this shot or any filter used to achieve this soft effect?

Duplicate background layer
apply gaussian blur 20 pixels to top layer
adjust master opacity of top blurred layer to 60%
use eraser to erase the blurred layer's eyes so that sharp eyes show through.
Ta-da Soft effect. This method no secret.

It's the same shot as the one i brought to the Year End Gathering.
