    1. in what critique to be sought?

    Composition, framing, contrast, HDR post-processing

    2. what one hopes to achieve with the piece of work?

    Isolation of the stone chair, with similar stone chair in the background

    3. under what circumstances is the picture taken?

    Taken in hot afternoon sun around 2pm @ f/4, with different exposure -2, -1, 0, +1, +2, and stacked

    4. what the critique seeker personally thinks of the picture?

    1st time doing actual HDR post processing, realise the trees at the top right have some kind of glow.
    Focusing a bit off, focuses more to the right of the stone chair

    I think you can have more space and better composition. More space doesn't mean the focus of that stone chair will not be effective. Yes, there is some glow effect around the trees and they are cut off in the frame. I suggest this process can be done or apply later with better shots and composition. Here is a quick example on a bit more space and and process. Hope you can try again.. Good luck.
