according to this review, D100 at ISO 200 has about the same noise level as D60 at ISO 400, S2 at 800.

after Phil published this, he appears to have gotten flamed so badly that he had to retest the D100 results

*sigh* some ppl get so worked up over technical details - the D60/D100 both exhibit remarkably noise-free images even at ISO800/1000. *sigh*

S2Pro seems to do very very well, quite a bit lower noise than D100/D60 at very high ISO.
