Not aware of this in PRC.

But in Okinawa or Afghanistan or South Korea, got this problem.

The US troops stationed in these 3 countries are not the elite troops. They are not the cream of the crop. They are third rate troops. Some of them commit rapes and killings of the locals. Infuriating the local population against foreigners.

The best or elite US troops are stationed in US itself to defend homeland or be sent out on special missions. For example, Seal Team Six.

I think this sort of FT issue only happen when the country is not doing well. In the US this is very evident during bad times, in Japan I seen some of these propaganda against non-locals. In EU countries also I heard during bad times starts retrenching FT etc...

Also same in Sg during the so called iron bowl time did anyone care if there's a lot of FTs? Same goes in other countries.... For China no so sure they seems to be against the normal norm and their reason is different from SG... for them they find these non-locals not competing with them but more nuisance

I think low birth rate is common to 1st world country and those with very high cost of living like Japan.... Its not that local needs support even if govt will say free birth expense to hospital and cheap education until Uni i doubt if local will have more babies... there's too much things to consider to raise a child not only education but daily needs as well and also housing etc.

And also a lot of Singaporean had completed thier education, educated couples tend to have less kids than those with low educations... dunno what's the rational behind but in 3rd world countries you can see the contrast very clearly those very rich one will often have 1 or 2 the most will be 3 those very poor will have 5 minimum

The idea of more is better. Back then because of high infant mortality rates, couples opted for more kids. These days, with better healthcare, it's not as necessary.

I agree that first world countries have lower birth rates. This is due to higher costs of living in those countries...

Also bro... I see thay you're speaking more like a Singaporean haha! Singlish is infectious!

There are those who are unwilling to sacrifice their lifestyle for their future kids.

Typically those in 3rd world don't have access to birth control. My maternal grandpa had over 30 kids - back then where got 7-11 selling condoms.

they dont even know ABC, and telling them part no which have alpha-numeric is a pain too

so it could be a case of livelihood.. to say the least
The problem is locals DO NOT want these jobs anymore. Ask any employers & they'll tell you about the problems we face when hiring. Service, retail & hospitality jobs are shunned even when we're willing to pay.

Do you guys have any idea how much it costs to have a baby delivered here? Esp if you want proper gynae etc.

One of my son went for circumcision recently, total bill came up to over S$2K in Eastshore. Doc's fee was S$800 & the 1.5days bed+operation room over S$1.2K.

My friend does the same thing but in his Ipoh clinic for RM300......

yeah my last daugther that's born here cost me 2K plus in hospital bills, lucky I have CPF to offset some of them this doesnt cover the pre-natal and post natal checks. then some more milk, diapers and others that goes along while raising a child....

This is the best part of all :-) You spend all those $$ from birth until she/he finish studies then when you gro old no one want to take care of you :-) they'll all just dump you to some home of the aged... thats why i am saving for me and my wife's retirement I dont want to end up nothing and my kids wont want to take care of us when we are all wrinkled and grayed...
