![]() Alright, alright, I plead guilty. Heavy use of Photoshop was involved.... but the original photo was really crappy, i.e. dull in color with a very distracting background, on the other hand, for a long time I have been anticipating an opportunity like this to take a photo with some romantic overture. So.... let me have your verdict, please. ![]() |

why guilty? digitally enhanced photo had been around everywhere, even digitally enhanced movies are popular now. A photograph is still a photograph as long as no artificially created image was added there. A digitally enhanced photo may not be "honest", but it doesn't need to. Because its purpose is to convey the message or mood from the author to the viewer as a form of art. It is not a journalistic photograph.
rty, I think you overdo the streak (zooming blur). |

Hi rty,
The concept is there, as we can understand and appreciate. But I don't like the color tone. I prefer a warmer tone, say sepia kind. u do want to convey some romance if I am not mistaken. What do u think? Tom

I like it!
Tom, rty likes colours like purple and blue. Rty: perhaps you can try one with the rain coming down diagonally, instead of the zoom, and see how that looks. |

Streetshooter, as you wish, here it is.... ![]() So what do you think? Better? Worse? Tomshen, I like sepia but I don't think it matches this particular picture. I purposely select blue to inject a sentimental mood. |
