    Default Dust cover for viewfinder

Do u attach it most of the time?

I find it too troublesome. However I realised mine got a lot of dust inside.
How much is it to clean if I send to Nikon?

    What camera r u using?

If DX just use the blower to blow it out.

If FX can be used fiber clothes to clean it and the final still need to air blower

Hi, sorry may I know which type of your body?

If FX just screw out the viewfinder case and clean inside, if DX is fully sealed for inside won't stick the dust, some is the mirror stick on dust.

Thanks, yes I'm using mobile devices now.

He he if DX is much easy way.

1st used the micro fibre clothes and slot in the VF screen and turning few round and used with air Blower to shot out all the dust,

No matter how the dust won't go in the VF.
Cause this is fully sealed from outside of the VF glass.

The piece that came with your camera is not a dust cover. It is for you to cover up the viewfinder when you are shooting from the tripod... because the light from behind the viewfinder can affect your metering somewhat.
