Hi,
U can try C P or MS color. I suppose most users have gone digital as it offers instant results. cheers chii |

i just bought one last year - the results are fantastic as usual. I am thinking of getting another one as it is tough finding a camera so outstanding for its sharpness and yet so compact in size. My collegues who bought earlier were lucky to get made-in-Japan version. I think the price is around $190.

Unfortunately, MS Color doesn't hold stock of the Mju-II anymore (I called them), and I think I might have bought CP's last remaining one (sorry!). And it was a display piece.
But I think you still can find the Mju-II. Saw one at Metro Causeway Point. Didn't ask how much. Maybe some branches of Standard Photo, etc. Yes, it's an excellent camera, and I love it!

Really? I thought I saw it at V8 last Dec. I will pop in tomorrow and take a look. If I am given a choice of only one camera to bring along, I guess this is the one

that's the same camera. It's just named differently in the different markets.

Search around e-bay.
Don't forget to look for the XA series ... da grand-daddies of the Mju / Stylus cams! Happy Hunting! BTW, the XA series was so sharp that Olympus once commissioned four professional photographers to shoot a calender using nothing else. That results were quite beyond anyone's expectations! |

Any idea what price the olympus mju II is now selling at? And where to purchase it? Any gauge too of the 2nd hand market price for this camera?

it's not commonly seen in the second hand market. I ever saw Olympus selling it at ~$148 with freebies outside Shaw Centre at Orachrd road. that was a while back. "normal" prices are probably ~$180

i bought my Mju II (actually a US model labelled as "stylus epic") at $150 from a shop at peninsula. it's right behind TCW. you probably would be able to bargain a little more, though
comes with a camera pouch that picks up dust like a vacuum cleaner so plan on getting another case. |

If you don't mind second hand, you can try Cash Converters. I got mine for less than $50 there.

Less than 50? Wow that's really cheap. But looking to get a new one since i've heard of QC issues with the camera.
So i'd have better luck if i tried out the big deparmental stores instead of CP and AP I assume? Any idea if its possible to order from CP or AP instead of buying from like harvey norman? |
