the win in this series will do good for singapore's football future! For the first time in a long while, i heard kids screaming "i'm Aide Iskandar" when they were playing soccer, and not beckham or some other foreign player.

Yup, went yesterday and saw the match, great atmosphere almost as good as during the Malaysia Cup days. It was a good match, good crowd, alot of oles and kallang waves. Alot shouts of referee kayus and Agus although I did reserve most of my shouting aimed at the organisers and the police......those nincompoop almost made me miss the first goal.

    But great overall. Well done!

I'm no expert, but this team play like they know HOW to play football. The defenders are comfortable on the ball, Idrah runs into space intelligently, Agu holds the ball up well, Itimi Dickson providing penetration and Goh TC strong in the tackle in the middle of the park...and Lionel...fantastic! Possibly lack a creative midfielder, but hey, not many teams have those either. Of course it helped a little that the Indonesian midfield left their boots in Jakarta.....

Well balanced squad with a bright future!

The most entertaining part i felt was the prize presentation ceremony......i
can't help but to laugh when the audiences jeered at the Myanmar team
representative and he looked quite embarrassed.....then when the president
was presenting the medal to each of the singapore team members, some
medals got entangled and made him more kalang kabok....very funny and
    comical....
