    unfortunately its the nature of the Singapore beast.

    There is no other source of income for the country, means nothing available to give away.

    Everything we get that is so called free is paid by us (taxes). No magic.

    No lah. You must be President Scholar and don't make major mistakes. No need for actual combat experience. No need to be i/c NDP.

    Indeed dangerous.
    Imagine trying to remake a pop song, end up incurring the wrath of own citizens, STOMPed for wrong reasons. Very risky endeavour.

    A long road ahead for this guy.

    Hope he can learn the meaning of the word "humble" as he progress in cabinet. At the very least, win the heart of people first. Both takes time. Shall see if he ends up as another "you mean food court, kopitiam or restaurant" man....
