Default optimal size (dimensions) for jpeg out put from Capture when send for printing...

Hi All,

I am currently touching up all the pictures taken at a small christmas gathering and want to resize the joeg so the guys there can print them when saved from the net.. any one with experience changing the image size? I usually change the length to 9cm for publishing on the web...

What do you guys do?

Again this is a nikon capture issie so I did not post in the digital darkroom... also I feel more familar in the nikon forum also...

Normally, I pass them the full 3008 x 2000 image for 4R prints min at least 1800 x 1200 @ 300 dpi.

espn.. do you "save as copy" or just save normally?

Also, what's the quality you used as i tried using 12 and each file is about 1.5mb so save not much space as i plan to print at least a few hundred shots....
