Hi, has anyone try to attach unitube 12 or 25mm to your 50mm F1.8 or 18-70mm len? can it bring the subject closer on AF mode? cheers

AF does not work on AFS lens. use MF instead.

I have the kenko extension tube set (3 tubes, 12mm, 20mm, 36mm) and it DOES AF correctly (some hunting) on my 18-70 AFS kit lens. These tubes also AF on my other AF (non-AFS) lens.

sorry to sidetrack.

How does the Unitube 12mm, 20mm, 36mm differs?

Longer gives u a larger magnifcation?
Any loss of F-stop?

Thanks

I believe the 12 & 25 tubes are sold individually, wheras the 12,20,36 are sold together as a 3 piece set.
Longer tubes give larger magnification with some light loss, details on mag can be found at : http://xoomer.virgilio.it/ripolini/Close_up.htm
