hi peter,
you have a strong centre of interest which is the ornate arched window opening, and the man looking through it which lends a human scale to it. however, the full impact of its symmetrical beauty is lost because it looks unbalanced in the photo, being "squeezed" too far to the right. the bright colours of the tree and roof in the background also grab attention from the interesting shape and lighting of the arched frame and the man peering out of it. if i can make a suggestion, perhaps you can consider cropping away the empty space at the left and bottom of the photo, and converting the photo into black and white. cheers, zaren. |
