Other than that, 8mm x 1.5 is 12mm, which is plenty wide enough for me. I personally like the Samyang fisheye's projection too.
great infor and thanks for sharing!

hi all, I am traveling to Japan, Hokkaido next week and may have the opportunity to shoot the Milky Way there.
Has anyone experienced shooting the Milky Way with the D800E?
In term of ISO how high should I push it to?
    TIA

Hi guys. One from my recent holiday in the Gold Coast, of storm clouds closing in on a sunset vista.
Due to the high winds, it's not perfectly pin sharp as I would have liked it, and i am atill scratching my botak head how to even out the exposure on the buildings. But still, I am amazed by the details in the photos which this camera captures when viewed at full size.

I have always wanted to photograph these dishes but never knew where to shoot them from. So yesterday, I went to try. Taken with D800E and Nikkor 70-200 f/2.8 set at 155mm with 10-stop B+W ND filter to get motion blur of traffic in bright sunlight. Sky is polarised in post-processing.

Edit: Photo replaced and hopefully slightly improved following the feedback from ageha

I have a been long time Canon user but this camera helped me decide to sell all my stuff and switch to Nikon. Now that I have all my stuff disposed, I have to know where is the best place to get a new D800E. Will you guys help a brother out? Thanks

The post processing isn't nice, the trees look like cardboards.

Thanks for the feedback. You are right. I tried to fix it as best as I know how to; and I have since replaced the photo above.
