How to enable this function in the D70 please ?
The SB 600 manual says must be set on camera side. Thanks |

I thought its SB800 which has this function? I don't remember my SB600 having this function leh

it says "compatible camera". i guess D70 is not compatible with the modeling light. i think D2h got can have this function

You'll need a camera like the D2H to operate this function.
When you have the SB-600 mounted on the D2H, pressing the DOF preview button activates the modeling light. Or if you have an SB-800 set as the master, selecting the group that the SB-600 is set to and pressing the modeling light function will also activate the SB-600's modeling light. Even better ... if you have an SB-800 mounted on a D2H and have multiple SB-600s or 800s on wireless CLS, pressing the DOF preview button causes ALL the modeling lights to fire. SB-600 + D70 = no modeling light |

Oh i see, thanks.
But will this function will be avaliable if a SB800 is mounted on the D70? Though of getting a SB800 if it is possible Thanks ![]() |

SB-800's modelling light can be activated by pressing the button situated behind the flash head.
