Default US Capitol in IR (S602Z) and other monuments

Pics were taken using S602Z with Hoya R72 IR filter. Custom white balance was used. The 4th pic was auto-levelled in Photoshop.

A few IR pics of the Capitol:

This is the Washington Monument. No building is built higher than this in the area. You could obtain tickets and go up to have an elevated view.

    Top of the US Capitol:

American flag and the Washington Monument

The following 2 pics were taken at the National Mall (basically just a piece of empty land between Capitol and the Washington Monument).
    Chinese Inn in DC?

    3 buildings from different origins....

Iwo Jima Memorial. I walked really a long way from Arlington National Cemetery just to reach it. It's really a very big monument.

The brighter side.... which one is better?

Thanks Didn't have the chance. The queue for the free ticket was too long and advanced booking (got to pay a small handing charge) was full.

Thanks for sharing these photos. I really like the IR ones. The look is so surreal!

Also, of the two Iwo Jima Memorial shots, I much prefer the silhouetted one. It reminds me of some war movie scenes.
