    Is it really necessary to use 80x CF card for DSLR ??

    My answer is NO. I have both ultra2 and normal cf card, I can't really feel the few msec speed different

    definitely not. i'm still using 30x CF and microdrive

    when taking the photo prob not coz depends on ya buffer also....

    when uploading onto comp perhaps got difference

    no, i use the 20x 25x and the 80x on my and my cam has enough buffer to shoot my next shot.

    Using a fast speed CF card is necessary when you use the burst mode (ie, press shutter release button and the shutter keeps firing until you release). You can see a big difference between fast speed and slow speed CF card.
