really you are far away and the picture has no impact. You should go closer if you want to take a better picture, too blur.

never get close to the subject as the shot was taken immediately as i spotted them
would be ideal if i can capture the expresssion...but which ladies in their right mind would let a stranger take a shot of them smoking

for this type of shot, i will really my camera, composed mentality, walk and shoot on the hip abt 3-5 meters away. there are many ways to go about this

sling on neck wrap hands on your cam and steady your step and breathing, shoot and go, dun even look at your camera

sling on right shoulder,left hand on the vertical grip, hands wrapping lens , shoot and go.

for P&S even better, walk up abt 3m, point shot and go, they will be too shock to even think if you have shot them or not.

they mind because you do, its your mindset not theirs.
