Default Does the assist light on 3600hs works for A200?

Does anyone know if the AF assist light on the 3600, 5600 or even the smaller Minolta Flash works for the A200? Just got the A200 and a little disappointed with the low light focusing and would like to see if there is any way to improve it....

Digicams cannot make use of the AF assist light on flashes.

Cheers!

The only time it's on is during wireless mode to show that the flash is charged...

Maybe his A1 Jealous that he got the 7D and forget about it. Then the A1 didn't perform as he expected.

Must be a glitch that turned on the AF assist. Most of the information on the A1 states that AF assist on flashes are not compatible.

Scroll down the page to the compatiblilty chart.
