Hi Chii,

If my impressions are correct, this is a workshop not a product intro as before. I have no access to the workshop info, but my readings are they'll go through the practical workings of the E300, which I suppose most of you guys should be au-fait with by now :-)

It should be a first time, not an again, lest this turns out to be another CS Oly gathering, but we'll be rude to gather at a corner again :-)

Cheers,

Thumbs up

I had attended the C3040 workshop some many years back. I give it

They had a professional photographer teach us the features of the cam plus good tips and tricks.

We had to read up the manuals before going. Presentation slides were provided with additional notes.

There in class practice with your own camera. The presenter also gave lots of valuable tips and tricks to optimise the use of the camera.

though its a land based workshop some of these tips really helped me take good underwater pics.

IMHO worth going. I've registered and going.

Where do you register for this ? Online ? I don't see anything about the workshop or expedition on the Olympus web-site.

Thanks.
They should at least have created a link to this site on their Olympus Imaging web-site. What is the difference between E300 and E300 DSLR, do you know? These are choices available in the pull-down camera list in that site. Didn't know that there's a version of E300 that's not a DSLR.

Hi Raycsk,

This is reassuring & should be worth the time then.

I guess if I were to shave off the top protruding hump of my E-1, I might be able to sneak past Oly security, but there'll be no viewfinder to look into after. Anyone who has Lestraset transfers bearing the numbers '3' and two '0's ? Pl. don't redirect me to B&S :-)

Lucky chaps you are !

Cheers,

I remember when I register some other days back there is NOT even a E-300 option at all. So I put at the others option. I think that Olympus see my serial no and from there they know my model of my camera liao.

No need to sneak in like this what? They are also conducting this workshop for E1 users as E1 is also in their list of camera models.

...unless you mean that you want to attend the same workshop as us E-300 users....

Chancy,

Through the limited time we spoke I believe your presence will bring much insight to the world of E system, their quirks, specifica and exspecially lens.

Maybe we can work something out with Oly Sin
