Default Konica Minolta Photoworld Magazine

Hi Folks,

FYI, In case you're not aware of this magazine, this is a published by David and Shirley Kilpatrick.

His newly short review on 7D can be downloaded here..

Original thread.. the subscription info can be found in the thread.

BTW, I've not read it before (will receive my first copy in Jan), but according to some others subscribers, the mag worth the bucks spent.

Cheers!

Yeah, but with the wrong data!

Anyway... nice shot there Des. 1/3 is really impressive especially at an angle like that.

Thanks! You should see the idiot standing in the open, tilting his neck so hard and handheld a camera without support.

Default Nice job guys...

Congratulations on being published boys!

BTW for UK photogs, the magazine also offers some great benefits.

1. Access to priority "pro" level technical support with 24-48 hour turnaround
2. Access to hire virtually any Minolta lens ( all of the 'G's' )
3. Cheap insurance.
4. Free classified ads to subscribers
5. Entry to magazine sponsored tutorials and events

If you're not in the UK, this may not interest you but I'd thought I'd mention it. David K has long been a champion of Minolta (now Konica Minolta).

Well nothing major, but he wrote 1/60 with 35-70/4 while it was in reality shot at 1/6 with 24-50/4. The lens doesn't matter, but 1/60 isn't very impressive hand held is it

Thanks for the review Des... but he's a Minolta user... so I'll wait for Phil's review... he's taking his time over it isn't he?!

Well.... that depends on what the focal length is also right? If it's like 50mm using 1/60 sec... that would be impressive... but of course u were using a 24-50mm lens...
