Default where to purchase medium format for my holga cam?

I tried to search and read quite a number of threads but just couldn't find where I can purchase? How much is it per roll for how many shots? Thanks

As for how much, it depends on what film you are talking about.

After buying it, you may then ask another question, "Where can I develop and print it, and how much per roll?" I can't provide you an answer now, and I'm also interested to know which shops are recommended for developing MF films. Kex... do you do 6x6 developing? How much?

Dudes, his question was more related to the holga? At least, that's what his title suggests!

I did a quick search, came up with this:
http://www.argonauta.com/html/holga_cameras.htm

16 shots in 6x45
12 shots in 6x6

Cool, didn't know the holga had two film options!

For the film, I could be mistaken but I think I bought Tmax 400 for about 3.50 per 120 roll? Or was it 4.50? Keep in mind that the holga has limited control over the camera settings, so a negative, not slide film will be recommended.

I usually ask Ruby to develop & contact print, was it 11 or 12 per roll, I forgot! Argh. Sorry. Haven't been shooting MF.

OT: Any idea why my home developed TMY is clear, whilst those developed from ruby have a purple tinge? I use DDX.

Finally, welcome to clubsnap, snip3r!

Alvin

Hello mate.
There is a cathay photo in peninsula too.... check the section where they sell tripods. Alternative, hop across the road to ruby photo, they stock 120 film there too.

HTHs!

i do develop 6x6 or any 120 film, but i do not print them in house.
developing of B&W film cost $5,color negs $3 color slides $4.50.

alvin, the purple tinge u get from ruby is becoz of exhausted fixer used or they do not fix them long enuff..

u can fix them again and wash it to get them clear..

Kex, Singscott, thanks! Some of my negs are 2 years old to several months/weeks old, still ok to dump them into the fixer? I only have Ilford Rapid Fixer at home, ok to use it? Films in question include tmy, delta 400, hp5+.

Also, do you know if it'll also work on XP2 since it's a Chromogenic film?
