interesting idea, but i don't like the angle, the strong lines goes right to the edges without leading me to anywhere ... maybe intended ... the 'ghost figures' are too faint also ... but then again nice idea ... personal preference, if i were to do this i will frame the shot right infront of where the door will open ...
how did you do this shot without getting spotted by the mrt staff btw? someone sleeping on duty? ![]()

![]() Well, actually this was a rather last minute shot, because i just got out of the train and didn't have time to find a nice angle to shoot it. Anyway, if u've got the chance, maybe u can shoot some train photos and post it up here too, so that i can learn from u! Regarding ur question, i thought we can take photos on mrt platforms? :P |

train photos? haha, that's a different game for me i guess, i've been shooting too much things that don't move so quickly, maybe i should start too ... i think it's more like learning from you! and i didn't know that shooting was allowed (or disallowed) on mrt platforms, but i thought with all the terrorism frenzy they will be quite sensitive on this, haha, guess i am paranoid ![]()

That day overheard the MRT staff briefing the new station security guy. He was telling him that videocam filming is not allowed as for photos taking, one or two shot can close one eye. Guess its a security issue.

Although MRT staff need to be vigilant, I think some of them are just too over-zealous ... some weeks back, I met a lens seller at the MRT and was trying out the lens and was stopped by a MRT staff .... dun want to argue with the fellow and so went outside to try the lens ...

hmmz ... yeah i guess so too ... as far as i know .. photography in mrt stations isn't allowed cos their affraid terrorists will take photos of the structure etc ... and yeah ... a few weeks back i was waiting at an mrt station and another group of guys were also waiting there .. and they got chased out just cos they drank water in the station ... O.O ... also i just bought a second hand FZ-1 at amk mrt ... the security guy seemed a bit jumpy when i tested the camera there ... but well ... at least he didn't chase me out =P haha
