Default The Lowest Point On Earth

More than 400m below sea level on the northern shores of the Dead Sea, and within 20km of the now Palestinian Authority controlled town of Jericho, looking east towards the mountains of Moab, where Mount Nebo rises to the peak at Pisgah.

"Get thee up into the top of Pisgah, and lift up thine eyes westward, and northward, and southward, and eastward, and behold it with thine eyes: for thou shalt not go over this Jordan. But charge Joshua, and encourage him, and strengthen him: for he shall go over before this people, and he shall cause them to inherit the land which thou shalt see." Deuteronomy 3:27-28.

... and this must have been the lowest point in Moses' life.

hi, jus a question here.

do u guys realised the most upper left and most upper right corner of the pic has a darker shade of blue?

why is this so? is it due to the lens hood?

i also have similar experience but mine was a lot worse.. shot on film with hood and polarizer but the sky turned out very "burnt".. very little shade of blue only, except for the upper most corners.. can any one provide some tips on this?

thnx..

For the pic shown here, it was due to the lens used, which had natural light fall off towards the corners of the frame. It's a physical phenomenon from the design of this particular lens. So the "darker" corners.
