HIee Pals....
I've just did a 170 pcs 4r prints for my sister of photos taken with the D7d during my vacation...... he First thing i was at the shop to collect the photo.....the shop technician asked me.......were these taken by you?......and what camera did you take this with?..... Well...i just had to smile and told them that the photos were straight off the Dynax 7D...... They and I.....were very surprosed on the sharpness and vibrance of the prints ......though some 3200 ISO shots did turned out a littel grainy as i turned off teh NR for the shots.....and the machine adjsuted the images as oppose to what my desired exposure was.... So in all.....I chose the Konica Photo Express just to "test" if the KM have some affiliated in system "advantage"...... From the outputs.....i am happy..... Well...too bad i can't bring along the photos for theouting tomorrow as the album is at my sisters...... But all i can say......those slight "common type of blur" due to casual uses surprisingly turned out really good....at 4R....... Oh yeah!!!....the tecnician also said..."image file was too big at 6Mpix max res.....it took awhile to print!!!!! hahaha......i jusz laughed when they told me that!!!!.... SOme WB errors: - shots taken in the airline using airlines ambient lighting......kinds yellowish output.....well...recoverable actually.... Seat colors turned out accurate but skin turned out yellowish.... Rgds, sulhan |

Sulhan,

NR only kicks in if the shot is 1sec or more. The NR is a dark frame substraction in which the post processing is as long as the exposure itself. This NR only removes hot pixels that develops during long exposures.
D7D does not have noise suppression for high ISO noise. If you want clean results do not to use high ISO and use a tripod for long exposures if conditions permits. AS is a tool to save photos from shakes. It's not a replacement for camera supports. Cheers! |

Anyway, there's nothing stopping you from setting up some form of support, improvisional or otherwise, or getting yourself into a more stable position. Flash could also be use. NR would not help high ISO in anyway. Nor will high ISO shot ever look better than those taken at ISO100-400. Regards. |

Hi Guyz,
Some very mountain tortise question, when printing 4R print taken from 7D..Do I need to crop to A4 size of just pass to the shop whatever i taken without need of resize. For DSLR, for 4R, is it really 4R size or smaller ??? Thankz man... ![]() |

4R is in the ratio of 3:2, so out of the camera from 7D, there's no need to crop. I don't resize my photos when i send for printing.

Pro-M is good... all my digital photos (previously shot with Canon Ixus P&S) were printed by them... but if u want ur photos as they are, must tell them not to adjust anything. PM me if you want to know their shop location... |
